Live from NACS Show – Day 2: Learn all about Dri-sump testing
The second day at NACS 2022 is gone and we have new exciting insights to share from the show.
This time, Tim Tang visited our booth to interview Peter Wagner, Global Engineering Manager at Leighton O’Brien and discuss the benefits of Dri-sump testing, a better alternative to conventional hydrostatic testing. In just 1 minute, this test can check sumps’ integrity to detect any existing leaks.
Check out the video to learn what Dri-sump testing is, how it is performed, and the benefits vs other testing methods.
Dri-sump testing: no water, no waste and more accuracy
Dri-sump® uses lasers and aerosol fog to find leaks in all types of sumps and spill buckets. It’s an EPA-approved containment-tightness testing technology that delivers digitally recorded pinpoint testing accuracy to 0.05 gph in just 60 seconds.
It uses no water, creates zero waste and will find leaks other water-based methods can’t, quicker, more accurately and conveniently.
According to our records, containment sumps fail at a rate of over 3%, based on a sample of 14,000 tests over 18 months. Why would you leave a weak point in your fuel system component up to inferior test methods?
