Leighton O’Brien signs agreement with United Petroleum for forecourt maintenance services

Leighton O’Brien today announced a three-year agreement with United Petroleum to provide equipment maintenance and related forecourt services throughout its 480-site network.

It follows the recent launch of Leighton O’Brien’s national Energy Services division. Leighton O’Brien will provide a range of comprehensive planned and reactive maintenance services to United Petroleum’s fuel and LPG systems.

United Petroleum Chief Operating Officer David Szymczak said: “We seek to work with the industry’s best providers for our fueling infrastructure to minimize risk, maximise equipment availability and ensure a strong customer experience at the pump.

“Leighton O’Brien has a solid industry reputation, built on technical and analytics capabilities. Using a national provider for service and maintenance, along with their integrity testing, cleaning and wetstock management, offers synergies and efficiencies to our operations.

Leighton O’Brien Global President of Field Technologies, Chris Cooper, said: “With this agreement we’re pleased to be provide United Petroleum with 24/7 service and maintenance to optimally maintain their fuel system assets.

“We’ve invested heavily in our new business unit in terms of key personnel, new equipment and inventory. We remain committed to demonstrating excellence to United Petroleum and look forward to further building on our relationship in servicing their fuel system and risk management requirements.”
