Continuing our Staff Spotlight Series, we shine a light on the people behind Leighton O’Brien who make the company tick. This time we are lifting the curtain on our Wetstock Account Manager, Claire Johnson.
Describe what you do and the best part about your job?
I am an Account Manager at LOB where I engage with our major clients to manage operational and project work which involves managing loss investigations, KPI reporting and enabling them to get optimum value from our wetstock products. As the key point of contact, my role is to ensure that we meet our clients’ expectations and a high-quality service is delivered.
The best part of my job is the people I work with and the relationships I’ve built.
What do clients love about your work?
My clients love that I keep their perspective in mind, and I am a strong client advocate within our company. This outlook helps me drive service improvements and thriving relationships.
What key thing have you learnt from working at Leighton O’Brien?
I’ve enhanced my communication and managements skills while also learning a lot about the fuel industry.
Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
Peru, specifically hiking to Machu Picchu on the Inca Trail. The history was fascinating, and the scenery was beautiful. Not only that, but I wouldn’t have met my now husband if it weren’t for that trip!
If you could only have three apps on your smartphone, which would you pick?
Definitely TikTok, Spotify and Instagram!
What was the most recent book you read?
Verity by Colleen Hoover. I can’t resist a good psychological thriller.
