Leighton O’Brien and leading managed service provider FuelHub have won their first deal together since announcing their strategic partnership last month to provide an end-to-end solution for complex logistics and environmental compliance requirements for a private equity convenience store chain.

Following a comprehensive market evaluation, FuelHub and Leighton O’Brien’s combined service and software was selected by the fast-growing c-store group to provide consolidated fuel and compliance management.

“With plans to expand up to 300 sites, our client was looking for expertise and tools that will enable them to scale rapidly and drive efficiencies and automation across their fueling and compliance operations,” said Don Thibodeaux, Chief Executive Officer of FuelHub.

From a logistics perspective, FuelHub will draw on its deep expertise providing 24/7/365 monitoring of fuel usage, ordering and dispatch based on advanced forecasting to schedule optimum delivery windows and achieve load and fuel price optimization.

Utilizing Leighton O’Brien’s iHUB software platform, FuelHub will also manage all environmental compliance activities including automated release detection and reporting from an ATG, with configurable workflows and event tracking to manage testing, permits and inspections.

“We’re excited to work with this outstanding company that has a rapidly growing national footprint,” Thibodeaux said. “This is a great team win and we look forward to delivering operational excellence,” he said.

“It’s pleasing to be able to provide the most effective, complete solution that combines the industry’s best experts and AI-driven software to enable our client to grow and manage their fuel operations at scale,” said Angela Wisdom, Chief Revenue Officer at Leighton O’Brien.

“From knowing stock levels across sites in real time and which tanks need fuel the soonest to maximising site uptime through remote alarm management and reducing compliance complexity are key advantages we’re able to offer for our client under one umbrella,” she said.
