Leighton O’Brien expands US SaaS sales team with key appointment – Joy Milam

Joy MilamToday, Leighton O’Brien has announced the appointment of Joy Milam as Director of US Sales for the company’s wetstock SaaS business.

Joy is an accomplished and highly valued sales leader. She has two decades of experience in the fuel and fleet industries encompassing sales, business development, account management marketing, channel partner sales and relationship management.

She has worked extensively with owners and CEOs to support technology requirements, compliance, acquisitions, contract negotiations, sales support and strategic partner initiatives to grow their business. Her key strengths include relationship building, problem solving, big picture planning and being the internal voice of the customer to ensure maximum ROI, client retention and growth.

She joins Leighton O’Brien from Voyager Fleet Systems where she was Vice President, Relationship Management, maintaining a client base with $1.9 billion annual fuel spend and helping them to understand their fuel program revenue and savings. She has also held senior sales positions Intellifuel (now PDI Software) and FuelQuest (now Insite360).

At Leighton O’Brien Joy will be responsible for driving significant sales growth for the company’s software solutions portfolio, working with US partners and key customer management.

Commenting on her new position Joy said: “I was attracted to Leighton O’Brien due to the large growth opportunities stemming from their innovative software portfolio that I believe are game changers for the fuel industry.

“My 20 years in the fuel business has allowed me to grow strong relationships with some of the largest fuel buyers and retailers in the US. I am confident they would benefit from Leighton O’Brien products and services that are unmatched in the industry.

“My experience in regard to software, fuel optimization and compliance will enable me to effectively consult Leighton O’Brien prospects and clients on the best solutions to improve their wetstock management processes, achieve maximum compliance and optimise their forecourt and fuel supply chain operations.

“I’ve also worked with Leighton O’Brien’s Chief Revenue Officer Angela Wisdom in previous positions and am once again looking forward to collaborating and leveraging her vast industry knowledge and experience to achieve top growth sales strategies for Leighton O’Brien US,” she said.

Joy will be based on Houston, Texas.
