After 14 months of hard work, our testing team and our partner Universal Engineering And Consultancy Services have successfully completed The Ghana Countrywide Tank & Line Integrity Testing Program for the National Petroleum Authority.
Using 12 tank testing units & 13 line testing units we tested 4,025 tanks and 5,793 lines, with the objective of developing a comprehensive database of test dates and UST status for compliance monitoring and follow-up testing.
The tests were performed by Universal Engineering using Leighton O’Brien’s leak detection testing technology.
Our tank and line test is the fastest, most accurate method of fuel leak detection.
Our digital testing solution digitally captures test results which are then uploaded to the cloud for analysis by qualified engineers.
This way, we get a digital signature that verifies that the tests have been performed correctly in accordance with EPA standards, ensuring verified compliance for every single test.
Universal Engineering is one of our valued Service Partners and we are working closely with them to explore opportunities on the African continent.
Indeed, last year we launched together a Centre of Excellence in Ghana that provides local resources, support and training to enhance and expand service delivery for oil marketing companies (OMCs) in the region.
