Leighton O’Brien is expanding its Field Services capability with the launch of a national maintenance business which will provide a range of planned, reactive and associated equipment maintenance services.
The new business unit will be headed up by former ECL Australia senior managers Andrew Vreeken and Nasser Khoury, Leighton O’Brien Global President (Field Technologies), Chris Cooper and Global Operations Director, Jason Park. It follows the closure of ECL in Australia and the realignment of Leighton O’Brien’s Field Technologies business to meet increasing demand.
“We’re pleased to be able to fill a void in the market for national maintenance service provision and fortunate to engage the expertise of Andrew and Nasser,” Chris Cooper said. “Along with other recent hires, we have added deep industry knowledge and outstanding technical, operational and service delivery experience servicing major Australian fuel retail and commercial customers.
“We have also employed many of ECL’s most experienced technicians, enabling us to provide qualified and experienced national service coverage throughout Victoria, NSW, Queensland, South Australia and Western Australia.
“Effective immediately, we are ‘open for business’ in providing a range of planned and reactive equipment maintenance services to keep our customers’ fuel systems operating efficiently and profitably, especially during these challenging times.”
Mr Cooper said the company will continue to expand its service suite, including but not limited to meter calibrations.
“We believe this enhanced offering, combined with our industry reputation built up over 25 years, provides a unique market proposition: national service delivery to test, protect, clean and maintain fuel system assets.
“For our customers it means a single point of contact, working with a trusted provider that is already on their sites every day with the capability to optimise their fuelling infrastructure.
“Our technical proficiency will cover all makes and models of pumps, dispensers and associated equipment, and, of course, all works will be completed to the highest safety standards.
“As the industry moves towards automation and data-driven intelligence to manage forecourt operations, we see tremendous scope to offer customers integrated remote and onsite solutions and cost savings to manage all aspects of wetstock operations.
“Issues like water ingress, fuel loss, slow flowing pumps, over dispensing meters, contaminated fuel or inaccurate tank gauges, can be identified by our smart wetstock analytics alarms and attended to at site by our qualified field technicians,” he said.
