Leighton O'Brien named Australian JCI/Mobil
Contractor of the Year
February, 2010 - Leighton O'Brien Grabs Two Prestigious Industry Awards in as Many Months
Melbourne- Leighton O’Brien PTY LTD has been awarded Australian JCI/Mobil Contractor of the Year 2009 by Exxon/Mobil.
This award is based upon exemplary performance in meeting all JCI/Mobil safety requirements and having zero incidents on Mobil sites. Leighton O'Brien received top marks during unannounced site visits, excellent scores in loss prevention observations and desk top reviews and highest achievements on the annual OIMS audit of its safety system. Leighton O'Brien also had zero on site incidents and no loss time injuries on JCI/Mobil sites in Australia during the last year.

The award was presented to Toby Griffiths, Operations Manager Australia- Leighton O'Brien, on January 27th 2010 at the JCI/Mobil 2010 Contractor Kick-Off by Mark Davey, Mobil Asia Pacific Construction Manager, and Frank Peters, JCI Account Manager.
Leighton O'Brien Inc Announces Acquisition of Holbrook Environmental, Inc
February 11, 2010 - Leighton O'Brien Total Tank Solutions continues expansion into the US Marketplace.
Colorado Springs, Colorado- Leighton O'Brien Inc, a renowned supplier of integrated tank and fuel services, announces its acquisition of Holbrook Environmental services. This announcement follows Leighton O'Brien's recent announcement to add to its predominantly East Coast service in the US with the opening of a new division in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Steve Holbrook, President of Holbrook Environmental, Inc, a long known UST compliance service provider based in Maryland, said: "This will benefit my clients by providing all of the quality testing and monitoring services they have come to expect from Holbrook Environmental along with added benefits of Leighton O'Brien's globally renowned Pascal perfect pre bury testing, daily SIR tank monitoring, additional EPA testing, and the most advanced tank and fuel cleaning services." Holbrook also adds that he will continue to run the Maryland based office under Leighton O'Brien in future.

Leighton O'Brien awarded prestigious BP Award
October, 2009 - BP has awarded Leighton O'Brien its highest rating in service excellence as a large contractor.
Leighton O’Brien has recently been recognised by BP for excellence in service as a large contractor. This award, given annually by BP, is the first in the large contractor class. Previous awards have been in the small contractor division' a testament to Leighton O'Brien's sustained growth globally.
The awards are bestowed upon those companies who show excellence in safety and maintain high standards of performance which is measured by BP's through audit process. This award validates the focus Leighton O'Brien places on Safety and Customer Service.
